Window 6 has now closed for application (as of 9th February), we expect to have communication from DNOs in the next 4 weeks and will be in touch if you have authorised us to carry out the necessary work. For those who missed the deadline, the ENA have confirmed Window 7 is open for application - please see below for further information.

All owners of generation installed prior to February 2018 are required to ensure their G59 relays are compliant with the distribution code and have until 31st August 2022 to comply with these modified interface protection requirements.

At present there is funding via the Energy Network Association (ENA) which represents the interests of all energy network companies in the UK. The funding however is not limitless and there may be constraints on the number of applications that your DNO or IDNO is able to process in any given period. Applying as early as you can will increase the chance that you will be accepted for the programme.

Further information can be found on the ENA website. The ENA have confirmed that Window 7 is now open for application and closes 11th May 2021.

We are able to carry out the necessary setting changes to your G59 protection relay. If you would like us to carry out the work if you could please complete a Letter of Authority enabling us to do so and email it to kenneth@northernturbineservices.co.uk

For our regular customers, we will already have knowledge of your protection relays on site. For new customers, we would ask that you please provide details of the make and model of your external G59 relays and Invertors in the body of the email.
